At Saracen House Studio, we're proud to work with renowned photographer and trainer, Andrew Appleton to provide first class photography training in Milton Keynes. Our range of workshops, tuition and photography days offer knowledge on a wide range of topics.
Are you ready to take your flash photography to new and exciting places? If you’re confident with speedlights and want to broaden your photographic repertoire, this hands-on workshop opens up a whole range of fresh and creative possibilities. In one day, you will learn a host of different ways to get innovative, using off-camera flash. How much easier it will be to introduce drama and atmosphere into an image; freeze the moment with split-second clarity; capture that head-turning hero shot.
An ideal follow-on to our Mastering Speedlights workshop, the day begins with a classroom tutorial and a quick refresher on the basics of using small flash units, on and off camera. Although this course is suitable for owners of any make of DSLR, we take the opportunity to cover how the Canon and Nikon systems differ from other brands. From here, we introduce you to the five advanced techniques you are going to take away with you at the end of the day.
Then it’s on to the all-important practical workshop element. Since numbers are limited to 8 students, you will have ample time to embed the skills learnt in the classroom session. An experienced model will ensure that you have some cracking reference shots, to remind you of what you can achieve from each set up.
Here are 5 techniques you will cover:
Throughout the day, you will receive ongoing tuition, support and advice from your trainer. There will be a break for lunch at a convenient point in the proceedings.
